Birthday Card for my Grandma.

My beloved Grandma will be celebrating her 80th Birthday on Tuesday (29th Nov). I am far away for her and will not be able to attend her celebration with the rest of the family. So thought of making her a Birthday card to send my heart felt love and wishes her way. I saw this layout some time ago, but I have adopted and modified it to suit my taste.

Christmas Cards 2011

Have been busy lately with my Christmas project for this year. Usually I take this time to pray for the families that I send Christmas greetings to and to seek God for the next year. Last year I couldn't do much as was busy with my wedding and traveling, and as I will be traveling and celebrating Christmas with my in-laws I will be sending out Christmas Cards pretty soon. These are my first batch of handmade Christmas cards. I am not very good with making these but I guess things turn out quite okay. So here is a glimpse of what I came up with. Check out my Christmas Card Video here.

Ladies get-to-gether

We got together to do some "girly" but "lady-like" event and decided to hold a card making workshop. Thanks to people who came and supported and enjoyed this fun activity. We had good food, fellowship and meet new friends. We also had some cards for sell, and guess what I sold my first ever card !!!!! :D  I wish to create a scrapbook for my Grandma's 80th Birthday.., but just can't find any inspiration. I have sorted out the pictures, not sure what to do next..., and time is just running out.... Oh Lord, please help.

For friends ;)

Made this for a friend who recently moved into a new home.  A thank you card made over night for a dear friend we were meeting over for dinner.

Mid-night Post

Latest addition in my Collection Box. Today was the last day of the class, and beginning of term break. But with all the assignments piling up, the only way to take my mind off was to create something. So, here it is... My Mid-Night Post.

Feeling the waters

It's difficult to get new ideas, that's what I thought. But after attempting to make few cards and learning from others, and referring to some bloggers, I don't think it's hard, do you? Well, here is something very basic and simple I cooked. The sentiments in this cards are hand written as I yet have to invest in some good sentiment stamps.  This card was my first inspired card. I was trying to do something else, but it ended up like this. And I like it.  I love the flowery thank you and Happy Birthday Card.  Inspired!  Inspired!  Idea from one of the magazines.  This was truly my work.  This I did on my own. But I guess it's too flowery.  This is a practicing idea from Card Maker, March 2011. I guess I messed up the fonts.  A friend of mine lend me this "Beary" wood stamp, I didn't know how to use it. But I guess it came out well.  I got this Idea, from a Billboard in Penang. I think the red Apple is a bit to small to stand by itse
