He Is Risen - Easter Greetings

Every year I usually send out Easter greeting cards. But this year along with Easter cards I also made this simple bookmarks too. I used the masking technique and a stamp and some colour. That's it.

Catchy Challenges - Jan Season II

India will be celebrating her 63rd Republic Day this year on the 26th January.  Here's a card to commemorate the day. I used the Indian flag colours on these doilies and assembled them to reflect the Indian flag. Since I didn't have a stamp that would go with the theme so I just used one of Mahatma Gandhi's quotes, "Where there is love there is life". (Please excuse my hand writing).  Entering this card into the Catchy Challenges - January Season II

Just Because Cards

Cards I made for my sister. She graduated from The School of ACTS on the 11th November 2012. And she asked me to make few cards to give her friends. So here is what I came up in the short time and the little material I had here in KL. I would also like to congratulate her on her Graduation. CONGRATS BINNY...!!

Counting Blessings

Last month my husband and I celebrated our very first Wedding Anniversary. A very memorable day to celebrate. Not just celebrating our union but also celebrating God's favor upon both of us since long time. We also celebrate our family and friends who have supported us in many ways and stood by us through trials. As I was going through some of my wedding gifts I received last year I came across some thing that I have always treasured and will always treasure and I would like to share it here with you all.  (from: Angeline)  (From my Matron of Honour :  Handmade by Josephine )  (From my Matron of Honour:  Handmade by Laura )   These are the love and expression of heart felt wishes. It over whelms me to know how much effort has been put into these. Thank you for the Joy you guys bring our way.

Birthday Card for my Grandma.

My beloved Grandma will be celebrating her 80th Birthday on Tuesday (29th Nov). I am far away for her and will not be able to attend her celebration with the rest of the family. So thought of making her a Birthday card to send my heart felt love and wishes her way. I saw this layout some time ago, but I have adopted and modified it to suit my taste.

Feeling the waters

It's difficult to get new ideas, that's what I thought. But after attempting to make few cards and learning from others, and referring to some bloggers, I don't think it's hard, do you? Well, here is something very basic and simple I cooked. The sentiments in this cards are hand written as I yet have to invest in some good sentiment stamps.  This card was my first inspired card. I was trying to do something else, but it ended up like this. And I like it.  I love the flowery thank you and Happy Birthday Card.  Inspired!  Inspired!  Idea from one of the magazines.  This was truly my work.  This I did on my own. But I guess it's too flowery.  This is a practicing idea from Card Maker, March 2011. I guess I messed up the fonts.  A friend of mine lend me this "Beary" wood stamp, I didn't know how to use it. But I guess it came out well.  I got this Idea, from a Billboard in Penang. I think the red Apple is a bit to small t...
