Articulating Thoughts

Well this happened a couple of weeks ago. A dear friend of mine emailed me - sharing that she was going to host a Challenge Blog starting from 2013. I was excited for her. I have known her for sometime now and I regularly follow her craft blog and videos. I know her to be an inspiring and talented crafter. After sometime she emailed me again and asked me to be her Guest Designer . Well, I was excited and but December being the busiest month with Christmas, travelling and family around I told her I can be her February. Can't make it to be her January. To cut the long story short she insisted and I agreed.  I was leaving Penang (where all my craft stuff lay) on the 12th  so I thought to finish this project before that and send it to her. But it didn't happen. I totally forgot about it. When I got to Sibu I had nothing with me. I didn't know what to use. I prayed and asked God to help. Here is my second post for today. I am following the sketch challenge from The Craft's Meow May Challenge. Love their sketches (though this is my first ever entry) and this month's challenge is sketched by Nina . Well, my cousin will be celebrating her 12th birthday next month. This sketch inspired me to make her a beautiful birthday card (which I'll have to post soon enough to reach her before her birthday with her gift).  So yeah, thanks to The Craft's Meow for this challenge. I was so excited when I saw the BGC challenge for this fortnight. I guess, I do like following sketches... sometimes it's just nice and simple and sometimes it takes up the entire challenge time. Well, here is the sketch that we were to follow.   And here's my take on the given sketch...

I made this card for my Mom's Birthday last year. But forgot to upload it. I made the same card for my Mom-in-law too. She loved the card but I guess moreover she loved our surprise visit and celebrating her birthday with her.

My beloved Grandma will be celebrating her 80th Birthday on Tuesday (29th Nov). I am far away for her and will not be able to attend her celebration with the rest of the family. So thought of making her a Birthday card to send my heart felt love and wishes her way. I saw this layout some time ago, but I have adopted and modified it to suit my taste.

Latest addition in my Collection Box. Today was the last day of the class, and beginning of term break. But with all the assignments piling up, the only way to take my mind off was to create something. So, here it is... My Mid-Night Post.
