Articulating Thoughts

I was so excited when I saw the BGC challenge for this fortnight. I guess, I do like following sketches... sometimes it's just nice and simple and sometimes it takes up the entire challenge time. Well, here is the sketch that we were to follow.   And here's my take on the given sketch...

Guess this is what I do lately when I have spare time. Helps with depression  and keeps me busy. Well this is for Freshly Made Sketches .  I had fun making this one. I used a paper doily to make that flower. Used patterned paper from Simply Cards and Papercrafts: The Botanical Collection and Kate Knight: Totally Tropical Summer papers (both were my free gifts). Card stock is from the local store. I guess, that's it. And here's my take... Freshly Made Sketches 32

Last month my husband and I celebrated our very first Wedding Anniversary. A very memorable day to celebrate. Not just celebrating our union but also celebrating God's favor upon both of us since long time. We also celebrate our family and friends who have supported us in many ways and stood by us through trials. My beloved Grandma will be celebrating her 80th Birthday on Tuesday (29th Nov). I am far away for her and will not be able to attend her celebration with the rest of the family. So thought of making her a Birthday card to send my heart felt love and wishes her way. I saw this layout some time ago, but I have adopted and modified it to suit my taste.

Latest addition in my Collection Box. Today was the last day of the class, and beginning of term break. But with all the assignments piling up, the only way to take my mind off was to create something. So, here it is... My Mid-Night Post.
